1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the GNelson Detailing website, booking a service, opting into our SMS messaging program, or providing your personal information to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Please review these Terms periodically.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect and use your personal information.
2. Services Provided
GNelson Detailing provides professional auto detailing services in West Chester, PA and surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius, including:
- Interior and exterior auto detailing (standard and premium packages)
- Ceramic coating application
- Paint correction (Stages 1, 2, and 3)
- Detailing add-on services (headlight restoration, engine bay detail, pet hair removal, and others)
- Fleet and commercial detailing programs
- Membership-based recurring detail plans
Pricing displayed on our website reflects current pricing guidelines. Final pricing for individual vehicles is determined at the time of inspection and may vary based on vehicle size, condition, and specific services requested. We will communicate any adjustments before beginning work.
Mobile service is available within our service area, subject to vehicle accessibility and safe working conditions at the service location. Service may be rescheduled due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

Bookings are confirmed upon our written or verbal confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service completion unless other arrangements have been made in advance. For fleet and commercial accounts, Net 30 invoicing may be available for registered business accounts. Contact us to discuss payment arrangements for larger projects.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We ask for reasonable advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Rescheduling is accommodated based on availability. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or require prepayment for future bookings. We will contact you to discuss these situations on a case-by-case basis.
4. SMS / Text Message Program Terms
This section governs our SMS/text messaging program. These terms are consistent with our Privacy Policy and with our dedicated SMS Program Terms.
4.1 Program Description
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from GNelson Detailing for: (1) replies and follow-ups to customer inquiries and quote requests; (2) appointment booking confirmations, reminders, and scheduling coordination; (3) service updates including arrival times, vehicle status, and completion notifications; (4) service follow-ups and maintenance reminders; (5) re-engagement messages for past customers and prior leads who have not booked recently; and (6) occasional seasonal offers, specials, and promotions.
4.2 Consent
Consent to receive SMS messages is NOT a condition of purchase or receiving services from GNelson Detailing.
4.3 How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages through any of the following methods:
- By checking the explicit SMS consent checkbox on our website contact or booking form (the checkbox is unchecked by default — you must actively check it to provide consent)
- By giving verbal consent during a phone call with us — verbal consent is limited to transactional messages tied to that specific inquiry (appointment confirmations and direct service coordination). Customers who provide verbal consent will receive a confirmation text and must reply YES to receive future non-transactional messages, including re-engagement or promotional content. We document verbal consent with the date and a summary in our records.
4.4 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your relationship with us. Active customers and leads with open inquiries typically receive 2–8 messages per month. Past customers and inactive leads typically receive 1–2 messages per quarter for re-engagement, seasonal offers, or service reminders. You may receive more messages during active service coordination or fewer if you have no upcoming appointments.
4.4.1 Re-engagement Messages
If you have previously inquired about our services or been a customer, we may contact you periodically with service reminders, re-engagement offers, or seasonal promotions, provided you previously consented to SMS communications and have not opted out. Re-engagement messages will clearly identify GNelson Detailing and include opt-out instructions. If you have not received messages from us in over six months, your first message from us in a new campaign will include a re-confirmation request and you may reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your wireless carrier for specific rate information.
4.6 How to Opt Out
You can opt out of all non-transactional SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. This includes re-engagement messages, seasonal offers, promotional content, and service reminders. After you reply STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and will not send any further re-engagement, promotional, or marketing messages. Transactional messages tied to a service you have already booked may still be sent until that service is complete or cancelled.

4.8 Supported Carriers
SMS is available through major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4.9 Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older and the primary account holder (or have authorization from the account holder) to opt in to SMS messages from GNelson Detailing.
4.10 Privacy
Your phone number will only be used for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Online Advertising
We may run paid advertising campaigns on platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and others. In connection with these campaigns:
- We may use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to measure ad performance and website engagement
- We may create Custom Audiences using hashed customer data to show ads to existing customers on supported platforms
- We may create Lookalike Audiences to reach new potential customers with similar characteristics
- Website visitors may be retargeted with ads on Meta and Google platforms

6. Intellectual Property
All content on the GNelson Detailing website — including text, images, logos, graphics, page layouts, and written materials — is the property of GNelson Detailing or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content without our express written permission.
Before-and-after vehicle photos and detailing result images taken by or for GNelson Detailing may be used in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. If you would prefer that photos of your vehicle not be used for marketing purposes, please notify us in writing at the time of service. Requests made after publication will be accommodated on a reasonable best-efforts basis.
7. User Responsibilities
When booking or receiving services from GNelson Detailing, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when booking, including your name, contact details, and vehicle information
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible for the scheduled service — including for mobile service, that a safe and reasonably flat working area is available
- Remove personal items, valuables, and any items you do not want handled before interior detailing begins — we are not responsible for items left in the vehicle
- Disclose any known vehicle conditions that may affect the service, including aftermarket paint, paint protection film (PPF), recent bodywork, ceramic coating previously applied, or known paint defects — failure to disclose may affect service results and warranties
- Be present or reachable during the scheduled service window, or designate an authorized representative
8. Limitation of Liability
GNelson Detailing performs all services with professional care and industry-standard techniques. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions discovered during service that were not disclosed at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to document and notify you of any pre-existing conditions identified before or during service.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by circumstances outside our control, including weather events, accidents, vandalism, or misuse of the vehicle after service completion.
- Ceramic coating and paint protection products are applied in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Results are subject to vehicle paint condition, pre-existing defects, and post-service care.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Warranty
- Detailing Services: We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the result of a detailing service, contact us within 48 hours of service completion and we will work to address your concern at no additional charge. Concerns reported after 48 hours, or damage caused by post-service conditions (rain, automatic car washes, bird droppings, etc.), are not covered.
- Ceramic Coating: Ceramic coating applications are covered per the terms of the applicable manufacturer warranty. Please ask us at the time of service for specific warranty documentation and coverage terms.
- Paint Correction: Paint correction results are guaranteed at the time of service completion, as documented by pre- and post-service inspection. Paint correction does not prevent future swirl marks, scratches, or damage and does not constitute a warranty against future defects caused by normal vehicle use, improper washing, or environmental exposure.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GNelson Detailing, its owner(s), employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) inaccurate or incomplete information you provided at the time of booking; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right. GNelson Detailing will similarly not pursue indemnification claims against customers for good-faith service disputes resolved through our standard warranty and customer service process.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active customers of material changes. Continued use of our website or services after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
